Dr. Ponlawat Pitsuwan
The founder of the Take Care Medical Clinics, a network of international medical clinics in Southern Thailand. With years of experience as a medical doctor, Dr. Pitsuwan has a proven track record in healthcare management and patient care.
Under his leadership, the Take Care Clinic Group has grown to serve a diverse clientele, offering high-quality medical services. His focus has always been on operational excellence and the integration of modern medical practices.
Dr. Pitsuwan’s pragmatic approach to healthcare delivery has earned the clinics he manages a reputation for reliability and effectiveness. He is known for his dedication to improving healthcare standards and his ability to lead and inspire his team.
Counselor
John A Smith
John A Smith is a former Educator, a trained and certified Life Coach, NLP Coach and Recovery Coach. He is also an internationally certified and accredited Substance Use Disorder Treatment Professional (NAADAC/GCCC/ISSUP) specializing in Co-Occurring Disorders (Addiction and Mental Health), as well as certified trainer in the field of treatment and recovery. He has many years of experience in a number of addiction and mental health treatment facilities as an individual and group therapist as well as psychoeducation presentations.

Parichat Senkum
Gift has a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University in The Netherlands. She’s not just about books and theories, though; she’s a mom to a 10-year-old daughter and married to her Dutch husband. After spending 12 years in The Netherlands, Gift decided to move back to Thailand, now soaking up the sun in Phuket.
Gift’s always been into languages, music, and getting to know people. She’s really into understanding how our brains work and everything that makes us mentally tick. She’s especially keen on how our families shape us and our relationships, believing that these are key to our happiness and who we become. Using what she’s learned and her own life experiences, Gift wants to help others better their mental well-being, tackling everything from empathy and love to dealing with the tough stuff like depression and personality disorders.
Head Nurse
Nuttasit Arayawangso
Natee, a dedicated and accomplished nursing professional, has made significant contributions to mental health and psychiatric nursing in Thailand. A graduate of Boromarajonani College and holding a Thai Nursing License (No.4511075138), Nat has a rich background in mental health care, including roles in AIDS counselling and drug rehabilitation. His career highlights include serving as a head nurse at The Cabin Chiang Mai from 2011 to 2019, as well as consulting as an addiction nurse at various other addiction rehabs around Thailand.

Lawan Thongpiw
Lek, an adept yoga instructor and fitness enthusiast, brings over 14 years of experience in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Fluent in Thai and English, she is passionate about wellness, a trait evident in her extensive experience in aerobic dance and fitness training. Lawan’s commitment to health and well-being is further showcased through her continuous involvement in various fitness activities alongside her professional career.

Ben, the Culinary Maestro behind the exquisite creations at Phuket Island Rehab. As the Head Chef, Ben brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the table, crafting a symphony of flavours that elevate the dining experience for all. With a passion for culinary innovation, Ben’s skills extend from curating delicious breakfast spreads to mastering the intricate nuances of Thai, Italian, and Arabian cuisines.
Not just confined to the kitchen, Ben is known for his ability to thrive under pressure, dedicating himself to hard work and seamlessly managing responsibilities with precision. His commitment to excellence is reflected in the meticulous control of costs, stock, and kitchen organisation. Ben’s culinary journey has been shaped by diverse experiences, with notable roles at CC Hideaway Hotel Phuket and The Pavana, where he contributed to the healthy culinary narrative.


SUPPORT WORKER
Kevin Shupe
Kevin is a husband, a father, and a support worker that greatly enjoys helping others in their recovery journey. With a diverse professional background, Kevin believes his eclectic resume has culminated in preparation for this single position at Phuket Island Rehab.
Kevin understands the enormity of making life-changing decisions such as seeking treatment. He aims to help every client transition as smoothly as possible into their stay with us as well as making their time here as supportive and accommodating as possible.

HUMAN RESOURCES
Pathu “Bonus” Sakultan
When it comes to being detail oriented and responsible in equal but epic proportions, Bonus is a self-motivated team player that excels in both by far. Having graduated with a B.A. from Walailak University, Bonus started her professional career as a customer service agent with Thai Airways at Phuket International Airport for 13 years. A few years ago, she switched career paths from the skies to rehabs and wellness centers contributing her expertise in logistics and overall client care. From seamlessly handling all aspects of the intake procedures to facilitating the varied day-to-day tasks, Bonus makes paperwork, scheduling, and last minute changes seem effortless in her execution and is a valued member of the Phuket Island Rehab team.
